Essential oils have many uses, it can be used for aromatherapy to relax and relieve stress, can be used in baths to also relax the body and relieve muscle pain. Essential oils have many benefits for hair growth & maintaining strong healthy hair. Some of the essential oil we will mention have been found to help common hair problems such as hair loss, hair thinning, dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis similarly certain types of essential oil have been used to treat common skin problems such as acne, spots, and dry or even oily skin. Extra virgin olive oil
Not all olive oil is the same. Normal olive oil is processed therefore some of the natural properties of olive oil are lost due to the way it is extracted from the olive plant. This is why when buying olive we suggest you buy a cold-pressed, unrefined olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil is the best. “Extra virgin” means that it is the least refined olive oil.
Olive oil has many uses, it is great for skin due to the fact it is dense in the good fatty acids which helps give the hair & skin a natural shine. The fatty acids in olive oil also act as a natural protective layer from heat and prevent further heat damage to hair. So If you use heat to style your hair olive oil is a must.

There has also been a recent study that shows evidence of a naturally occurring substance in olive oil which can help prevent the main cause of hair loss known as DHT. When subjects used olive oil they found that it reduced the amount of DHT which in turn also reduced the amount of hair loss. It also showed signs of regrowth.
Olive oil is also great for people who suffer from dandruff. Olive oil is slightly acidic similar to our natural skin PH which is around 5.5. Olive oil helps rebalance the natural PH of our scalps which can be agitated by everyday products which can alter the PH of our scalp skin which allows an organism called Malassezia to overgrow which causes dandruff. How to use?

We suggest you apply olive oil once a week to hair for the best results. You may leave it overnight or wash out after an hour of application.

To use as a face mask, apply the olive oil and massage in a circular motion. After about 2 minutes wash off starting with luke warm water and finishing with cold water.
Rosemary essential oil
Rosemary is a very aromatic smelling essential oil. Rosemary is another oil that is great for hair growth. This is due to its ability to stimulate blood flow to the scalp. How does that matter for healthy hair? Well, the more blood stimulation to the scalp the more nutrients needed to grow strong healthy hair flow to the hair follicles. In many cases, the main cause of dull hair is the lack of essential nutrients needed for your hair follicles to grow healthy shiny hair.
You may well be eating healthy but these nutrients may not be reaching your scalp. Lack of stimulation can also be caused by stress from our busy lives and we definitely do not have the luxury of sitting down for an hour to massage our scalp. Rosemary essential oil will do the heavy lifting for you.

Using rosemary to cleanse the skin can cleanse pores which clogged up with dirt & bacteria which cause inflammation on the skin. Black seed oil
Black seed oil is renowned for its ability to help the growth of healthy thick hair. Some people have even have reported that black seed has the ability regrow thinning areas on the scalp. Black seed has been used for thousands of years. So there is a very good reason people have been using this essential oil for so long, right?

Black seed is not only great for hair but also is as beneficial for the skin. Black seed has powerful anti-bacterial and anti-septic properties that can treat acne & spots. Black seed kills bacteria which often builds up over time in our pores which eventually causes the skin to inflame causing what we all know as spots. When applied to skin black seed oil acts as a defense against bacteria causing acne & spots.
To use black seed oil on skin apply 4-5 drops and gently rub in a circular motion around the face. Do this for 1-2 minutes and leave on for a further 1-2 minutes. Rinse off the black seed with lukewarm water making sure not to use hot water. Finish off on a cold rinse to close the skin pores and calm the skin.
To use on hair use 4-5 drops of black seed oil. Rub between fingers and apply to start from the scalp. The scalp is where healthy hair growth starts. You may pour a few more drops to apply to hair using fingers. Making sure not to rub the hair against the hands vigorously as this damages hair.
Extra virgin coconut oil
Coconut oil is a very popular oil in cosmetic hair & skin products due to coconut oil having vitamin e present in it, which helps maintain & protect skin & hair. Our skin and hairs have a natural protective layer which is often weakened due to the products we use. Coconut oil helps rejuvenate our skin and hair's natural protective layer by rebalancing the natural ph of our skin & hair. Coconut oil also has many powerful properties such as anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacteria and this is why coconut oil has various uses and even can be consumed.

When using coconut oil we recommend you use extra virgin coconut oil. This means that the coconut oil is unrefined also making sure the coconut oil is cold-pressed as heating coconut oil changes the chemistry of coconut oil.
Coconut oil can be used to cleanse the skin, moisturize dry skin, reduce dandruff and even help reduce hair loss.

To use coconut oil on hair take half a teaspoon if in a solid-state or 4-5 drops in a liquid state and rub against hand to heat the oil. Start applying from the scalp and then work your way to the hair by gently using your fingers to apply to the hair itself.
To use on the face as a cleanser rub coconut oil on your fingertips and start rubbing gently on the skin in a circular motion. Do this for 1-2 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. Finish off on cold water to close the pores.
Bergamot oil
Bergamot oil comes from a citrus plant. Bergamot is high in antioxidant which is why is so great for the skin. Antioxidants inhibit free radicals which can cause the skin to inflame. Using bergamot oil as a skin cleanser for the face can relieve spots & acne as well. Bergamot is well known for its antiseptic & antibacterial properties and makes for a great cleanser.

How to use bergamot oil for skin?

To use bergamot oil on the skin simply take 3-4 drops and rub on the tip of your fingers and start rubbing in a circular motion on the skin. This will help cleanse dead skin cells and remove dirt build-up more efficiently. Do this for 1-2 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water & finish off with cold water to close the pores on the skin.
